Happy Halloween from Turner Animal Hospital!
Hello Hospital Family, As the leaves change colors and the air turns crisp, we want to take a moment to wish you and your furry friends a spooktacular Halloween! We also wanted to share our upcoming holiday hours with you. Halloween Hours: Friday, October 31st – We will be open 8 AM – 3PM. If you need medication or prevention before Halloween, please make your refill request by 5 PM Wednesday, October 29th. At Turner Animal Hospital, we understand that pets are family, and we encourage you to celebrate this festive season with them in mind. Here are a few tips to keep your pets safe and happy this Halloween: Keep Candy Away: Chocolates and candies can be harmful to pets. Chocolate is particularly common this time of year, and if ingested by your pet, it can cause heart abnormalities and even seizures. Make sure to keep treats out of reach! Common Poison List: If you have a concern about a possible ingestion, you can easily check this list. Costume Safety: If you dress up your pet, ensure their costume is comfortable and doesn’t restrict movement or vision. Avoid costumes with parts that can be chewed off and swallowed. If your pet seems distressed or uncomfortable in a costume, it’s best to skip it altogether. Safe Spaces: With all the doorbell ringing and trick-or-treating, create a quiet space for your pets to relax away from the commotion. We hope your Halloween is filled with fun, laughter, and plenty of treats (for both you and your pets)! If you have any questions or concerns about your pet’s health, don’t hesitate to reach out. Wishing you a hauntingly good time! Turner Animal Hospital Team |
